Super Bowl Sunday

NFL

Super Bowl Sunday 2014 will be held on 2nd February at New Meadowlands Stadium in New York/New Jersey.  Next year it will take place in Phoenix, Arizona on 1st February and in 2016 it will be held on 7th February at Levi Stadium, which is currently under construction and is destined to be the new home of the San Francisco 49ers.  In 2017 Super Bowl Sunday will be held in Houston, Texas on 5th February.

All football teams in the NFL want to be able to go to the ‘Party’ or to the ‘Big Game’, as Super Bowl Sunday is also often referred to; however, only one team will ultimately leave the Super Bowl with victory and with the individual rings that tell everybody that they are the world’s greatest football team.

Millions of people from all over the world attend or stage their own party for Super Bowl Sunday in their own homes, at party houses or in bars.  Super Bowl Sunday is the second biggest day for the sale of snacks of the year, behind only New Year’s Eve.  Even the most casual of sports fans take part in enjoying the year’s most watched game.

The fantastic half-time show and the amazing advertisements that are specially produced for the event have become just as much a part of Super Bowl Sunday as the game itself, and many spouses happily admit that they watch the event mainly for the ads!
