The NYC Craft Beer Festival is due to take place on October 31st and November 1st 2014. Taking part in the event will be a whole range of established breweries, as well as some breweries new to the industry. As part of the event there will be a Grand Tasting, with only the best US breweries taking part.
The Grand Tasting will feature up to 75 breweries from all over the country, which will be presenting two of their best beers. These will be mainly limited release selections or seasonal offerings.
All those who attend will be given a tasting glass and will be able to try all the beers. For those who really want to make the most of the event, Friday night is costume night, although this is optional. There will be refreshments available and there will also be a number of retail vendors there on the day so that you can pick up a sample or two. You may be lucky enough to be given a VIP pass to allow you time away from the crowds to sample beers at your leisure.
For those who want to know more about the beers on the day, there will be craft concierges on the main floor of the event so that you can ask any questions you have. You can also take the opportunity to learn more by attending one of the seminars that will be taking place.
