The Coachella music festival may be a few months away but tickets are already on sale and they are sure to go quickly. A number of top names have already signed up to play the festival, including Drake, Jack White and AC/DC.
The full line-up has been announced on Twitter and other top names appearing include David Guetta, Florence and the Machine, and Interpol. The festival takes place in Indio, California in April and you can also see acts such as Steely Dan and Alt-J. You will need to have an admission pass as well as a shuttle pass.
There are two weekends of music with the same three night line-up and for these days Southern California attracts people from all over the world, with the event growing in size and popularity each year.
Coachella has become known for being the event that brings back 1980s and 1990s acts or where an act starts a tour. In 2014 OutKast reunited and the year before the acts that made a comeback were Blur and the Stone Roses. It is one of the worlds biggest music festivals and should be on anyone’s bucket list.
The addition of AC/DC will attract rock fans. The band has recently released its 15th studio album and is due to begin a tour in May. Jack White has played the festival in the past as part of The White Stripes and he will appear in the line-up on the Saturday.
In total there are around 150 acts taking part and tickets to the event will set you back $375.
